Outreach to Roma Programs

Robyn is providing a Speech Pathology service to Roma in South Western Qld once a month for two days. Families are given the opportunity to attend sessions on both days to make the most of her visiting time there.

In this time they are offered:

• A full assessment
• Language interventions
• Phonology (Prompt) interventions
• Support with using visual strategies such as PECS
• Feeding support using the SOS program
• Cogmed training
• Liaison with local services
• Training in the use of iPADS and appropriate apps.
• Advise on funding sources

She is supported by a Social Worker Judy Venn who can be contacted via a link on Robyn’s site. Clients will be given the choice to be seen in the clinic, at home or in their educational setting depending on distances from Roma Clinic address: 54 Hawthorne St. Roma
